@Hufflepuffner I also have to agree that the whole egg reveal was something for sure. I feel that Fierceteeth is just getting started in life, trying to set up a whole new place for the NightWings to live and sort out her own messy self. Perhaps this is her awakening, or at least the “uh oh” moment some people get when they realize they have no idea what they’re doing. Of course Fierceteeth already has strong feelings about motherhood and opinions on how her own mother failed her, but with eggs on the way maybe now the stakes are raised and she is hell-bent on not making the same mistakes and, very reluctantly, admits she might need some help.  I do have sympathy for Farsight though and I hope Fierceteeth doesn't hate her forever. I'm sure Starflight feels a little caught in the middle. He wants to know about his mother and yet still feels Fierceteeth's pain. 
            I could probably write several dozen more fanfics surrounding WOF characters and there mothers. In "The Dangerous Gift" it was shown that Glacier intended to abdicate her thrown when it was time, and I think the war of SandWing succession has maybe shaken up the ancient royal traditions of Pyrrhia. Who knows, maybe one day male offspring will be able to take the throne lol

@Hufflepuffner Starfish probably just let’s her vent for the first while. I’m sure she has a lot to get off her chest even if she already wrote it down in a memoir. Maybe she can do a reading one day, to an audience of Starfish, Strongwings, and Hailstorm. Maybe Starflight if he’s around.  Starfish probably asks her to sign his copy of the memoir because he's so proud. 
            
            Also Strongwings loving food now makes me think that he and Flame would get along which is something I was not was expecting from this AU. They could cook together and come up with recipes for their partners :D I think Stongwings would have some growing to do, too. As you said, he and Fierceteeth both helped with the RainWing experimentation project. I’m not sure how guilty Fierceteeth feels about it but perhaps Strongwings would have time to reflect on it while Fierceteeth is in her sessions with Starfish. I do think their story is cute; Fierceteeth and Strongwings, with him having that one-sided crush on her and then taking her to the rain forest because he knew it would make her smile. I think that’s the sort of guy who wouldn’t want to hurt others if he had grown up in a better place.

Motherhood is unfortunate in Wings of Fire, especially if one's child is a protagonist, but the royals have it even worse. The whole sisters, daughters, nieces, or granddaughters as challengers thing is messed up though. Even sons aren't completely safe because their own daughters are eligible for challenging a queen. All the measures queens have taken with their heirs (Coral having 3 daughters and 32 sons in her attempts to have an heir), (Oasis being so stringent on controlling the number of heirs she had until she made sure to kill off a sister when Blaze hatched, then sent guards to arrest Palm for having a relationship with Smolder) show the results of that tradition. The RainWing way of doing things certainly has less casualties involved. Plus, Thorn loves Sunny so much and vice versa that they would never think about killing each other. Someone should explain what the concept of abdication is to all the tribes.

I gotta do some digging soon and figure out what all the plans are exactly. Also you are absolutely right, Flame's swearing literally fits him so perfectly. You developed all of that amazingly istg--it's just-- glorious

@LogicalLucid Yeah, I always thought the swearing suited Flame, at least how I saw him lol. There are a few other dragons in WoF who I could also see cursing but for now it’s Flame’s special treat hehe. I do wonder if Tui will actually give us any answers on Umber. She’s been saying that for a while now

Bro not even gonna lie I think the more intense vocabulary and swearing just helps lol
            It really, really puts more pressure on the emotions there and so I think you made a good choice in doing that to be honest

It’s really cheesy but I was thinking of a story based around an island that only two dragons know about, and they often go there but never meet- perhaps two jade academy students. One day, they bump into each other, and start falling in love, meeting there often just to talk and watch the sunset. Idk really random but I think it’s nice ^^

@Toxic-Rain Hi!! I do have a book called "WoF ficlets" that is sort of a short-story collection. I kind of just write what ever I feel like but I do think Moon and Turtle are quite nice together (better than the other popular ships around featuring Moon).
            And I'd love to hear your story idea if you'd like to share :3

@Cat0fTheDragons Writing a Qinter story is definitely on my bucket list. I don't know if I could write a Healed-length epic but I definitely want to try writing those two even if they are the hardest characters to write imo :3
