I have a confession to make - SPOILER: I was going to kill Roman. It's true. I planned from the start that the boys would find him buried in the hole, a victim of the Light's inability to cope with his mental illness. There are a few reasons I changed my mind, one being that there are already two deaths in the final book (neither of which I'd envisioned while writing the early books), and of course it would just be too depressing for Xay. I much prefer the idea that he took control of his own destiny, found help for his illness, and will become probably the wisest (certainly the least cynical) of all the family.

Countdown to destruction: all the Wynter Wild books are disappearing from Wattpad by the end of the month, after which you can read them on Kindle Unlimited (or buy as usual on Amazon).
