I’m not sure if you play the games but did you hear the drama in the Love and Deepspace (LADS) community?

@Saraelizabeth26 Late lol, anyways I’m a nutshell; LADS is a 3D, sci-fi otome gacha game set in Linkon City in 2048. The player is a a Deep Space Hunter fighting alien monsters called Wanderers. Alongside the action, players build romantic relationships with five distinct male leads across multiple timelines and alternate universes.
            
            So the drama is that the developers introduce a new character named Valko who’s a wolf-man character who’s hot and a new love interest. However Chinese players (Cn) hated the new love interest, calling him ugly (which he’s not). It resulted in physical protests where extreme fans sent funeral flowers, cow dung, and curse banners to the developer's office.
            
            So the developers decided the best solution is to cancel him and any future love interest. Which resulted in backlash. Players uninstalling the game, review bombings and massive social media follower losses.
            
            Many players went to the LADS post and commented: #bringbackValko
