@ZoeChance I completed chap 21 so far and I am thrilled for the upcoming fight. I hope it's a fight everyone will fight together for Kate. Grams smiling means she is ready for it. isn't she? I still wonder where the doctor and Levi fit in? And I hope Alex leave his own hating nature behind.whats done is done. He must take charge of the situation if he wants to get the girl.

I'm not sure how far you've read, but you might be satisfied by how this book of the series ends

@ZoeChance true but I personally like to read the first drafts.they are much more interesting .gives you more details to understand the purpose of any story.

@ZoeChance the way it describes the hamlin homestead and the first meeting  with them is needed so I don't think it is slow.for some who want quick action it may seem a little unwanted details but I think a proper background should be set before the real story starts. As for chapter 3 it gives the reader an insight of a soldier and his family's life and emotions.perticularly of a loving but troubled daughter.very nicely done.
