Satyendra Pratap Singh ('Shyamal') was born in Jaunpur (U.P), India, in 1985. He received the B.A degree in English Honors from the Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University in 2004 and worked as an English tutor in the starting of his career.

Satyendra was inclined towards writing from his early youth. Being a student of English literature, he developed a strong aptitude towards Poetry. Satyendra is a keen observer of human nature and emotions. He has a great passion for writing poetry. His poem depicts vivid images of love, kindness, revolt, pity, etc. Apart from poetry Satyendra is a successful writer and digital marketer.
