I have authored three non-fiction books: The New Friars, How to Inherit the Earth, and Overturning Tables and served as editor for two other books on extreme poverty. I have spent more than 30 years traveling the world, writing about monastic-like communities who are agents of change in slum communities of the developing world. These experiences have served as inspiration for the characters in my work.
