I love reading and writing! A lot of my inspiration, however, comes from a plethora of video games and television shows. Literary techniques, on the other hand, are taken from pieces of literature and adapted to my own writing which I attempt to practice daily. As I am young, I still have much to learn in the fields of creative and contemporary writing, and I am eager to share my work with all as well as see the exciting, imaginative tales you all have concocted. Something that I need to work on is my story-telling voice; how to provide an authentic sounding narrator, a voice that is organic from my soul, something that cannot be synthesized or constructed and must resonate with me to give credibility to my stories. I struggle with that, big time, I think.
Though writing is an intense passion of mine, being an author is not a dream or aspiration of mine. I desire to become a thespian in the arts of musical theater, next year, after I finish my final year of high school.
