I am a writer of humorous (if I say so myself) stories based largely on personal experience and the nerdy things that people like me like to obsess about.

So far I have published six books on Kindle (A Short History of Progressive Rock with Some Bits Missed Out; Diary of a Busybody; Don't Go There; We Are Scum, Motorway Service stations - A Solo Journey, and What I Had for Dinner) which deal with four of my favourite topics: music, travel, religion and food - and one of my least favourite (cooking!)

Don't Go There and Diary of a Busybody have also been published on CreateSpace.

Offline, I am involved in community radio - you can catch my local history dramas from time to time on allfm.org but i'd recommend giving the station a listen even when it's something i'm not involved in (which is actually 99.99% of the time). i'll try and update you on social media when it's a personal project! I'm also involved in co-ordinating a social enterprise - the day job, if you will

In my spare time, i'm trying to develop a keyboard application which autocorrects you when you've done a double space when you only intended a single. This isn't easy..
