Dear readers,
I’ve been away longer than I meant to. When I first stepped back, I thought space would fix everything—but returning made me realize I wasn’t ready. Emotionally, creatively, or in a way that felt healthy.
Bullying, drama, and toxicity take a toll. They drain your joy, confidence, and willingness to share something personal. I’ve seen how it affected not just me, but my friends and community. And I also want to own my part in it—I’ve reacted poorly at times and made mistakes. Acknowledging that matters to me.
But I miss writing. It’s always been where I feel most alive. My stories are dark because they reflect parts of me I’ve never spoken aloud. They’re not for everyone, and that’s okay—please take care of yourself and check trigger warnings if needed.
Moving forward, I’m writing with intention and boundaries.
Writing order:
1. Consumed — minimal edits
2. The Whispers of Fate + Echoes of Hope
3. Remaining stories, one at a time
I need to pace myself—for me, and for you.
For those here for Hogwarts Legacy content: once my current projects are complete, I’ll likely step away from writing Sebastian Sallow. I love the character, but I’m no longer interested in the fandom space that’s grown around him.
Thank you to those who’ve supported, waited, or checked in. Your kindness means more than you know.
And to those watching from a distance—whether curious or cautious—I hope we can coexist peacefully. We don’t need to be friends, but we also don’t need to be enemies.
Here’s to creating again.
With love,
Selena Sallow
