Hi author, hope all well .it's been a month since no update awaiting....

To all readers and writers of this community.
          
          About an hour ago, I got message on my message board. It said that this month, my account was chosen for an "account safety review" by Wattpad's safety team.
          
          At first everything seemed legit.
          
          There was even a line about how they would never ask for my password or payments.
          
          I was required to click on a link and the security review would take about an hour and after thirty minutes of this, I would regain access to my account.
          
          It even had a "customer support number"
          
          On just a more careful glance, I realised that this was a phishing attempt.
          
          The link was not from Wattpad.
          
          The mobile number was not legit.
          
          If I had clicked, I would have been locked out of my account.
          
          I went to the account. It had no followers, but had just one following.
          When I went to that account, the message board was full of people saying that they would not fall for the phishing attempt.
          
          People make mistakes when they are scared or worried. I advise you that you take a moment.
          
          A deep breath.
          
          And review everything,
          
          And document everything.
          
          Wattpad is a safe space for millions and it is a collective responsibility of us all to make sure it remains that way.
