Happy New Year!!

Finishing a book can be hard. You’ve just gotten used to how everything goes, then suddenly it’s over. 
          
          The good thing about books, tho, is that there’s always another.
          
          2025 was an insane chapter of our lives. 2026 is just the next part. I hope it’s a good one!

          I recorded this video on Monday. I’m not always looking through the news tbh, so I’m not always up to date with everything that’s been going on in the world. I heard about Brown University on Sunday, and the events in Australia on Monday.
          
          My heart breaks and goes out to the victims and their friends and families that have to deal with this. This festive season- a time of celebration and gathering with loved ones- is now tainted for many as a time of loss and fear.
          
          Pray for the survivors. Pray for the families. Pray for your country. Pray for our world.
          
          God, help us.

          Not one person is so good and pure that they qualify as sinless. All of us aren’t worthy on our own, no matter how many good things we do- We don’t have the right to call ourselves righteous.
          
          It’s Jesus that makes us qualified to live in the presence of God. He did the hard part by paying our sin debt with His life. All He asks from us is that we walk with God in faith.
          
          Knowing I don’t have to prove my worth to God makes living so much easier!

          Marketing is hard, especially if you selfpublish your stories.
          
          So share them here- your cover, a synopsis, character art- and hype each other’s works!

It’s okay to go back and change the manuscript.
          
          
          Something I’ve been learning over time is that writers are always growing. The way you write and execute your stories today isn’t the same as how it was in the past. Your descriptions will paint a more detailed image. You’ll find yourself stepping outside of the box in the name of writing a good story. Growth is nothing to be ashamed of. It should inspire you to continue working on your craft.
          
          Tainted Judgement was my first fictional story published to Amazon. It had had a few readers review it before and after it went live, all of which said they enjoyed the story. Through writing the series, however, my style has changed for the better. I’m more confidant in how I write now than I did back when working on Tainted Judgment.
          
          That being said, I’m currently going through the first book and making some edits. The plot will stay the same, but I would like to enhance descriptions and work to let the paragraphs flow into each other. I don’t regret this first edition, but I would like people to get good quality writing when they pick up one of my books.
          
          To all who have been following the story, I thank you for your support. I thank God for each order as well as the lessons He’s taught me over the years.

Fun Fact: Writing for 30 minutes a day is still writing.
          
          Getting 1 paragraph done in your WIP is still writing.
          
          Plotting out storylines before they hit the page is still writing.
          
          Don’t let slow progress stop you from finishing that manuscript! Take your time until it’s exactly how you want it.

Not staying quiet out of fear. I’m just too angry and horrified rn to put my thoughts into coherent words. 
          
          What happened to Charlie Kirk should never have happened. My heart goes out to his family. 
          
          I’m disgusted seeing ppl cheer for a man’s death. That should happened to NO ONE.
