Anti-Semitism isn't okay.
Crazy, right? Like obviously, but I just checked a comment I replied to that was calling Jews thieves and whatnot, and I asked if they were joking, only to be called scum. I saw a lot of similar comments on the same post, calling jews thieves and stealing. You don't have to like Israel; in fact, I want to punch their Prime Minister myself, but can we just take a second to realize that hatred isn't okay for everyone? If the Pope said something you don't like, you wouldn't start hating every Catholic.
If this makes someone mad, I'm not sorry. I'm not pulling any long history cards, and I'm not saying all people who don't like Israel are antisemitic. I'm saying that we as Jews shouldn't need to feel uncomfortable wearing a Star of David or just praying. We shouldn't have to have armed guards outside of our temples.
I'm not trying to get pity. I don't like it and don't want it. But I thought that I should say this at least once.
Be kind to everyone, always. Love, Sarah
