Hello there- thank you for stopping by. I am Shruti - a UK resident of Indian origin, who was born and brought up in East Africa! 

Wherever I have lived and whatever I have done, my love for writing has always been constant.  I have always loved stories; reading them, writing them, telling them - every part of the process of seeing fictional characters come to life and their worlds taking shape from an author's brain has always fascinated me.

Besides pursuing my interest in writing, I am a full time practicing solicitor. I have blogged previously and written a number of  fan fictions on another site as well as tried my hand at writing for online entertainment publications as a guest writer.

I began to share my story, Dark Knight, a period romance set in 19th century Rajasthan, India and also spanning genres such as action, adventure and suspense, with the Wattpad community towards the later part of 2017.
