Sorry, my dear Wattpad friends, but I have unpublished 'Sex & Drug & MTV' for now.   Doubts have been playing on my mind for quite a while and stopped me from writing more. The question is, do I want to write a novel that is so personal and that digs up certain dark moments of my past? I keep changing my mind on it. So, for now, I will leave this idea to incubate in silence & decide in a while what to do. For now, I will spend my time writing children's stories, and short articles (Some of those will appear in 'Musings of a happy has-been' here on Wattpad) Big hugs. Sorry to be so wishy-washy.

After almost chickening out on using the title 'SEX & DRUGS & MTV' and calling my story 'The true Scarlet Ray' for a while, I have decided to go back to the original title. It felt too personal, too close to home, even if it was a novel. Anyway, I've decided to just take the plunge with it. I also have started to upload my short articles as 'The happy has-been'. Check out my musings on pop culture, society and so much more. Thanks for the love, people. Oh, and sorry for my absence. I had some thinking to do. I'm back now ;-)

Not to worry-- you mean when you're reading, right? 
            So-- I find that WP sometimes places me right where I left off and sometimes doesn't. I haven't paid close enough attention to figure out if it's different on my laptop or my phone.  I tend to stop at the end of a chapter so that I can start at a fresh one. I'm not sure if it has the capacity to remember where you were within a chapter or not. But sometimes it pushes me back to the beginning of the book, even if I'm halfway through and I have to navigate back to the chapter I am seeking. You can do that by selecting the chapter title at the top of the screen and then scrolling down to a later chapter.  I am not sure this is much help-- I hope so. :0)

@KathaOwens Any idea how I can skip to where ever I left off in the story without having to scroll through the whole thing from the start each time? (Sorry, newbie question)

Great-- I should have a chance to read and comment later today. :0) I think balancing reading and writing here is important. For me, at least, reading other writers has been a good way to find readers. It has also shown me a little about Wattpad-friendly pacing and chapter lengths. Cleaning the house... totally off the list altogether.
