My ambition has always been to live a thousand lives in this lifetime. Just for the hell of it. Just for fun. Why not? Let's see how deep, how wide, and in how many different directions this reality of ours can stretch.

I may not manage to create a thousand lives, but I've created some pretty diverse ones so far; being an MTV Europe VJ, a singer, a weekly columnist for a Dutch magazine, a radio host in Aruba, a life coach, a jury member on Popstars in Germany, a hotel owner in Belize, a Zumba teacher and - these days - a homeschooling mom. Next, I am planning to become a writer. God knows if I'll ever be successful, but why not try? I love writing. Getting lost in a story, never fully knowing where it may lead next; it's just fun, don't you think?

So, I don't know what life will bring me next, but I know what I will bring to it: my creativity, my joy, and my unending gratitude for the life that I have lived so far.

To all my fellow writers, may your writing dreams come true someday. And, if not, just make sure that you fully enjoy the dreaming. Savor the journey, feed your creativity and wisdom along the way and you will come out a winner, no matter what!
