I live in Bournemouth in the UK and I work free-lance with a varied portfolio of fun things. I teach English to foreign adults who come to our lovely city, mostly for the beach but occasionally to learn. I run overseas expeditions to exciting places like Mongolia or Madagascar and I also supervise and assess 'Duke of Edinburgh' expeditions for young people in the UK. I am a qualified flying instructor and used to fly people round Africa for their safaris. My stories are inspired by my travels and since I have started writing my eyes have been openend to collect characters, experiences and mental images rather than photographs and souvenirs.
