Alrighty, I just gotta vent for a sec, anyone can ignore this is they’d like;

          	So Valentines Day isn’t one of my most favorite holidays, mostly bc I’m aroace and I prefer to be alone with just the simple comfort of chocolate rather than being dragged around everywhere with useless gifts and cheesy candies.

          	Don’t get me wrong, people can enjoy Valentines, it’s just personally not my own cup of tea.

          	But what happened this year was that I unexpectedly was asked out by 4 different people to be their Valentine. 2 boys, 1 girl and 1 enby. But this is going to be specifically about only one of the boys.

          	I’ll call him A. So A and I have been friends for a few months now, we started chatting sometime during December last year and everything was alright for a while. He was a bit of a nerd but I didn’t mind at first. We were sort of estranged friends, y’know, the ones you chat with in one class and then not actively seek out afterwards?

          	We were just like that, and I was content. But things started to get a bit weird as A randomly asked me to be his GF on Valentines (This ticked me off a bit as he knew and I have personally told him I’m trans and wouldn’t appreciate ANYONE referring to me as a girl or she/her).

          	I politely rejected him, and I thought that would be the end of it.

          	But I was so, so wrong.

A was stubborn, which was something I didn’t expect. He’s not exactly a pushover but he never talked back to me or opposed my opinions whenever I complained abt something.

          	  He kept on being persistent, asking me out at times and trying to flirt (all attempts were horrible, not even in a funny way but in a physically-pains-me-to-witness way).

          	  We were decent before and I was content, like I said, but as time went on with every day I saw him he became very annoying.

          	  I have anger issues, and my patience is a thin, fragile line.

          	  I’ve shouted at him a few times to back off even, too — he won’t stop though. A few days ago he even had the audacity to ask me if he could kiss me and call me things like “Bae” “Baby” or “Babe” and while I didn’t show it I was flat out disgusted.

          	  I just don’t know what to do anymore. He was a great friend up until he somehow caught feelings for me, which I’m sure will just fade away in — at most, a few more months.

          	  He did ask 10 other girls to be his GF before he asked me, after all.
