Fresh out of school, my only brush with writing has been a self driven passion. A passion which was evoked when I realized how it feels to be a part of someone else's story and early on decided, that someday I'd write my own. 

These stories took the form of my mom's favorite poems, by poets like Whitman, Neruda and Frost, which took the place of bed-time stories, Harry Potter, which was a refuge from the Science and Math. Studying Literature at high-school gaining exposure to Shakespearean dramas, sonnets, stories and more poems, but this time tearing them down for their themes and devices. 

Finally, I realized my biggest love is when the word meets the screen. So staying up late at night and watching movies, from The Godfather to What's Eating Gilbert Grape and from Ll Postino and Cinema Paradiso, is what I do now. 

All I'd like to do, is work on giving my verse to the play of life. 

So whether it is the tears or the smiles 
Succumbing to fears or walking miles
Its all a pretense because life becomes a stage 
And there’s a written script for every age
