There are moments in life when someone does something unexpected, a small act of selfless kindness and it leaves you overwhelmed with joy and hope. Thank you to everyone who has supported me. And a big, big thank you to @lyttlejoe for always being there for me, no matter how long my absences have been. Thank you all!
Much love, Lauren
@lyttlejoe No, thank you. You have been a huge supporter and motivator for me since day one. I'm so glad to hear that you're enjoying some of my latest work. I'm also trying to get active again in the Poets Pub.
Aww, that's so sweet! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'm about to crash for the night. It's been a looong day, but I'll check it out tomorrow. The beginning looks interesting.
@CKArceneauxLeger You're welcome! I absolutely love The Golden Thread, it reminds me of my childhood spent in Louisiana. Thank you for the follow and for checking out and voting on Reigning in Roman, that means the world to me. :)
Sorry for the late posting. A new poem is about to be uploaded for A Mind Beneath the Waves and the second chapter of Reigning in Roman will be up soon.
A new poem is up in A Mind Beneath the Waves. This was my first, and so far, only attempt at the pantoum form. It's a very challenging form, but I was lucky to have such a wonderful poet and professor at my side to help me work through it. I'll have to revisit the form again and see what I can make of it now.
Hi, it's the age of technology. Who knows why anything any more.
You'll get used to the tinkering and forget about it when you start getting all those reads that are waiting for you. Best of luck!
@lyttlejoe Thank you so much! The age of technology is nice so long as everything works. I like technology to an extent, but some things are better when they're a bit simpler.
