I’m #100 yay!

Hello, everyone!
          
          There's been a couple changes, but the biggest would be my username. Siren Creed is a name that I use across several social media sites and is my Summoner name in League of Legends, so I feel like it suits me better now than my old name. (For those of you who have no clue who I am, this is Maddie, previously going by Mad Mans Guardian.) 
          
          Another change is that I'm now writing from a new location; I've just moved from Las Vegas to Virginia. My writing has stagnated from the move, but I've been trying to keep up with my editing at least. Beast is slowly getting polished up, although it's far from complete. Queen is getting some nice buffs too, and is nearing somewhat readable. (I still wouldn't chance the version on Wattpad if you're at all a nitpicky person.) 
          
          In plans for the future, I want to pick up my blog again and even have some ideas for new fanfiction. I've put Magnificent Seven on hold indefinitely (it's been almost a year since I've seen the movie! I don't trust myself with the details.) but have plans for fanfiction involving the video game League of Legends. (Although it'll be hard to top the already amazing lore that Riot has put into the game.) 
          
          Not much else is new! I hope you're enjoying keeping up with Beast as I send out the freshly edited chapters. Pretty soon we'll be reaching some expanded territory with all new scenes and details.

Hello, everyone! I'm back from the hiatus and Lent, in which my family decided on no recreation time. I'm a little late in this message, but some of you have been seeing the updates in Beast, so all is well! 
          
          I've nearly completed my second draft of Beast, although you will be seeing the updates every Friday. After that begins the next round of editing, in which I make sure things actually make sense with the new chapters that have been added. 
          
          I'm also in a writing contest! It's a multi-round short-story contest called Figgy Idol. You can my stories (as well as some that I usually post at @JaneApricity ) here: 
          
          The final update is that I'm considering a username change. This username is a bit strange, yes? I'll need to update several links in my fanfiction.net and @JaneApricity bio, but I think it'll be good. Any suggestions?

          So I'm going to go on hiatus until March. I have a lot of school things going on, and there isn't much to update since I'm finishing Queen and editing Beast.

          So I'm a part of a writing platform called Figment. It's like a closer-knit Wattpad, and while there aren't multimedia options (yet!) it's fantastic for writing. It's very easy to get reviews and critiques, and everyone there is ridiculously nice. (And it's nearly impossible to steal other people's work due to the way that the platform works. Much like Wattpad, it's impossible to copy and paste.) 
          
          Unfortunately, Figment is in decline. We lost a lot of members and there isn't much new traffic. I and some of my friends there would love it if you'd consider joining! There's a group called the Figgie Fighters who are working on trying to bring Figment back, and I'm the admin of a group for fantasy authors called the Inklings. I'll add links at the bottom if you're interested! I'm JaneApricity there if you feel like finding me!

          The post-NaNo crash has worn off. I won! 50,000 words of Queen have been typed up, although not all of them have been typed out on the computer. 
          
          Currently I'm editing Beast, finishing up Queen, and working on some for-fun books over on Figment. If you'd like to check it out, it's like a closer-knit writing website than Wattpad. I'm JaneApricity, and you can find me as the admin of a group called the Inklings.
