Leslie Simon is a creative makeup artist creating monsters for screen by day and an author creating monsters for the page by night. Her stories center on vampires, witches, and other ghostly ghouls and often incorporate elements of gothic literature and historic drama. She is hard at work querying her debut adult supernatural fiction, We Were Monsters, and has just begun a new YA literary work, Diary of a Teenage Monster Hunter. Her work centers on themes of found family, lost faith, and she adores a good enemies-to-lovers trope. Some of her favorite novels are Interview with the Vampire, The Invisible Life of Addie Larue, Empire of the Vampire, the Song of Achilles, Circe, Vampirates, and This Dark Endeavor. Her poems "The Suicide of Lucretia", "If I Were a Man", and "The Tragedy of Paint-Bound Love" were featured in the 2021 and 2022 editions of the Southern Quill Literary Journal.
