Shea~~I'm like what you started with "Reluctance".I admire your use of historical context. I actually do the same--an underpinning of usually mythology and/or history--then connect the dots creatively. 
          
          I'm happy to say we both share spots on the "hot" list for such combined genre (Vamp/Hist).

I wanted to give another shout out for the club I've joined that I feel deserves it. They helped me so much to refocus on my main story and I've written much more often, even during my most hectic weeks, and they're always there to give me the nudge or competitive push to keep writing. I've fallen in love with my story again and it's really helped me get to the final chapters and closer to the finish and my true goal. Finish my 2nd book on Wattpad! So if any of you need that extra push, focus, nudge, or just someone to keep you on track give them a try! They have plenty of guides to explain how the club works and they even give you incentives to write as much and as often as you can. They ask for nothing from you except that you follow an easy rule to tag your word count (which only helps make it easier for them) and to write! So Thanks again to @InkRunner! And please to all my friends and fellow writers. Give them a try!

To those waiting for updates on my other stories, namely My Brothers: Skin Deep. I probably won't be updating them until I've finished The Velveteen Curse. Thankfully I'm very close to the end but it's been rather difficult to update more than one chapter a week so I'm not sure how much longer it will be. That being said I'd love to get more feedback on the later chapters of that story as well :)

I did get another chapter of 'TVC' scribbled out. Expect it tomorrow after I've had a chance to read it over with fresh eyes. The next 'MB:SD' will be whenever I find free time between this Windows 7 crash course I have to take this weekend and test out of Monday.
