HEEEYYYYY!! Just wanted to drop in and say thanks for interacting with "Never Truly Buried". Like you said, the comment section is dead. The story doesn't get a lot of attention which I'm ngl breaks my heart and crushes my soul a little. It's fine though lol.

If it's not too much to ask, could you tell me what you might enjoy about the story? Since I don't have a comment section to go off of, I don't really know what any of the readers actually think of it. Or my OC. I thrive on validation and I'm EXTREMELY MALNOURISHED. Btw, your thoughts don't even have to be positive. Like... I'll accept hate with a smile. Literally anything helps.

Anyway, feel free to ignore me. I'd totally get it if you did.

          Thanks for reading! <3

@MochiSpaceMoose222 OMG THANKS FOR THE FEEDBACK. That's super good to know! I didn't want Ayame to just be that one female character that's literally just there as a romantic interest or just like "I'M A GIRL!". On top of that, hxh needs a broader female cast...

And for the record, I don't particularly care for the romance genre, so I try to make everything platonic between the main cast and my OC. I also don't understand the concept of xreaders... So yeah.

NGL I feel bad for writing Ayame like this. My poor baby is traumatized... But it's okay because it's hxh. It's also really fun. It's a power complex.

OH AND BTW IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, FEEL FREE TO ASK AT ANY GIVEN TIME!! I'll happily answer any of them either in the comments or message me directly!

Thanks again for taking the time to chat!

@MochiSpaceMoose222 I actually do like the story you've created. It's one of the few fanfics of the genre that doesn't put the oc into some weird love triangle or pairing with the phantom troupe or hisoka right away- so that's a plus.

Ayame (Rena) also fits extremely well into the usual group dynamic of the 4 main characters as the responsible and caring older sibling that tries to steer them out of trouble; it is one of the things I enjoy reading!

The thing the that like most about the story (in this part) is the amount of mental baggage she has that makes sense due to how her past was- being part of the reason of the Kurta massacre and extended period without memories of the place while also working for the zoldyck's does that to you. It genuinely shows that despite her strength and outward stability, she isn't perfect in the slightest; that's what makes the parts where she is confronted and reminded of those things all the more compelling.

So, I do like the story and I do find it weird that it isn't getting much attention as it should've (I'm not really good at making reviews but I hope this is enough to see how I think about the story)
