My name is Kristi Brooks. Not that it’s relevant in the grand scheme of things, but I might want to tell you that up front before I forget.  I’m not big on self-promotion.  I hate it in fact, and that could be one reason why I prefer the hermit writer model.

I’ve been writing as long as I can remember. It is a way for me to get outside of my head when the world threatens to close everything off and suffocate me. It works better than drugs or alcohol (for the most part) and keeps me sane. These are a few stories, poems, etc, that I wanted to share.
