          The mmc was some sort of Hispanic and Latino ethnicity. 
          
          Three brothers, all in a gang and they all had a terrible relationship with their father, borderline abusive. 
          
          She was first with the oldesr brother, childhood lovers. His nickname for her was Mi Vida, he got it tattooed on him. They had a toxic relationship. He ended up dating one of her friends. 
          
          But she left the town and came back years later, had sex with him first but then ended up with the middle brother and he has been in love with her his whole life. He used to be nerdy but now they together and they adopted a kid that was going to be initiated in the gang but they stopped it. 
          
          Third brother was gay. (Just adding in details I remember)
          
          If someone knows, pls I just want to read the whole series again.  I loved those books
