Spider-Storys

Okay, so another small update, and I've been thinking about how I started, And Along Came a Spider. And I've decided I'm gonna change it up a little bit and split it up into a mini arc to get the story going with a bang!

Spider-Storys

I have a few things to say. But first...I'M SO HAPPY!!! The trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day has been released, and it looks so AMAZING!!! I'M CRYING TEARS OF JOY RIGHT NOW!!! The shot, the web swinging, Peter's depression! It's all so perfect and so Spider-Man. I'm so excited! So yeah, I'm gonna be working on chapter two. And I'm so, so sorry it's taken so fricken long, turns out I'm not good at taking it slow, but that's what I've decided for this story. So I'll be posting more updates. I promise!

Okay, so first, I just wanted to apologize for being inactive for so long. And I'm still working on the second chapter, but progress is slow. (Sorry) But I also wanted to tell you guys that the suits I showed Peter using in the story, I decided to simply use those suits as a reference, and I'm planning on making my own designs. With those suits as a reference, while also incorporating other aspects from some other suits. Again, sorry for being inactive for so long.

Am I the only one who felt like 2025 went by so fast? Like, what do you mean 2024 was TWO years ago?! What do you mean we're closer to 2030 than 2020 now? Just wanted to talk about that real quick at...3:00 am...dang I got a terrible sleep cycle.

Okay, I just realized, like mid-writing issue# 2, how many words 10,000 really is, and holly cow. So I'm gonna be making most chapters a little shorter. My main goal for the time it takes to read each issue is about half an hour. And since my last issue takes about ten minutes to read, I'm gonna just double that number. So the average issue is gonna be about 4 to 5,000 words long.

Second announcement, I've decided that Year One is going to have four villains. The Vulture being the main antagonist. Followed by two more minor villains connected to Vulture, and one that shows up after Spidey defeats him. So Year One's villains are going to be tech-based. And as the Spidey progresses in his career as a vigilante, he'll fight more superpowered villains.

Okay so right now aim taking a break from issue# 2 so I can write down all of my ideas for the story. And you may be asking "Isn't that usually the first thing you do?" And to that I say Yes. I'm just dumb. So! I shall work on the outline of the story than get back on writing issue# 2!!!

Spider-Storys

Okay, I have a question. Right now, I'm working on my first draft of Issue# 2, and I wanted to know if anyone wanted to see it and give some feedback. Stuff like what they like and don't. And since I haven't even been writing this stuff for a year, I'm not really good at stuff like editing. (Dang, I'm saying like a lot) But yeah, as I said before, my goal is to have each issue about 10,000 words at least. I'm really just spitballing here and mainly just want to have a balance between what the readers want and what I want. So yeah, just let me know what you guys think about the idea.

Also little side note I just wanted to say REST IN PEACE THE GOING MERRY!!! YOU WERE THE GREATEST SHIP OF ALL TIME!!!
