I've been away for months and months, but have managed to add another chapter  to the Fire Stone(even though I pressed publish by mistake, so its not finished)  Not sure I like the 'new format' of writing,  can't find the spell checker,  and I need a spell checker!!

So just start with the Chapters + Scenes parts and get used to that. I like that you can just move them around wherever you want and shuffle them like a deck of cards without a bunch of searching+finding+cut+paste nonsense.

I love ywriter but it hates 64bit Windows 7 for some odd reason.
            
            For ywriter I suggest just using the basics first then adding in the other features at your leisure.
            
            Another tip. Always save a few RTF files too as well as the regular save. If you have to switch computers or move the story about to other computers--this is a lifesaver.

yes.... in the middle of reading write of way.... down loaded some thing from your link (characters, scenes, locations, items, etc)  not sure how it works yet -not sure it will work with me. (the ywriter) after 13/14 years and trillions of words  I still think I'll keep my 'notes' in a file (and in my head and in diaries) even though it adds up to a bigger door step than the books themselves! will let you know!
