Hey, I'm Joy. 

I've been on Wattpad for over nine years, mostly as a silent reader. I don't write stories, but I've read a lot of them. Some of the stories I've found on this app have taken me on emotional rollercoasters I'll never forget. That's what made me realize how much work writers put into their stories. How much heart. How much time. And how often they go unseen.

That's why I decided to give back in the best way I could. As a reader who decided to show up.

I started Starlit Review Shop to help writers feel seen. I know what it's like to love a story and wish someone would tell the author just how powerful their words are. That's what I want to do here. I offer honest, emotional, and supportive feedback from a reader's perspective. I am not a critic. You don't have to be perfect for your story to matter.

I also created Award Finder: Guided by the Stars, a project to help writers find award shops that match their story. So many amazing stories never get submitted, not because they aren't good enough, but because the writer doesn't know where to go. I don't run any awards myself, but I will help point you in the right direction. And if an award or review shop ever asks you to tag someone, feel free to tag me. I am always happy to support.
