We do what we need to do with Only a hat, covering our hearts. Mine’s blown away, by all of my mistakes and thoughts. I’ve nothing left. I’m broke, and you can’t fix me, no matter how hard you try, course i’m not a thing. I’m not one of the things you fix with a golden string. I’m not. And I’m sorry if I’m not the girl you want me to be, I’m so sorry. All the screams I made, all of the tears i cried, all of the strength I used, all of the energy I used to live, all of the thoughts that ruined me. It made me who I am today. I don’t need anybody, because I’ve been alone in all of this. And where were you? You can’t remember it because you weren’t there.
