See, this is why we need to keep DVDs and so on around.
I had to order the entire Supernatural series on DVD from Amazon because The CW app doesn't have it even though it's a CW show. AMC+, Tubi, and HBO Max don't have it. I have to update my subscription with Hulu if I want to watch it with Hulu, but HOLY FÙCK, it's like a maze with nothing but dead-ends when it comes to trying to figure ANYTHING out with canceling, updating, whatever-- I don't have the patience or temperament to deal with that bullshìt. Prime Video, I have to pay $14.99 a season (and, as we know, there are 15 seasons), and I don't know if that's to keep it permanently or if that's for a limited time. YouTube is $14.99 the first season, then $24.99 for the rest. Sling says I'd have to pay $45-$50/month, go fùck yourself, honestly. And, Netflix is only keeping it until December of this year.
Honestly, I'd rather have the physical thing so I can have it forever and watch it whenever instead of having a billion services that will have it one moment then take it down the next and I have to go on a whole goose-chase again.
Same with video games. I'd rather have the physical copy for a more secure save on progress, and this way I don't have to worry about a glitch in the system that deletes it off the system. Games are expensive, I'd rather not have spent all that money for nothing and have to spend it again for something I already had.
