I doubt that I'll be able to get a new chapter of my X-Men '97 book out this month. So I figured that instead of starving you all, I decided to make good on the poll made in one of the chapters and published a pilot chapter for an Invincible book.

I don't know why, but I REALLY want to coordinate with some other authors on this platform to release a chapter from their respective books at roughly the same time. Maybe I want to make a good morning for the readers, maybe I'm just bored with having writers block and I need some bs like that to motivate me to keep writing, but I wholeheartedly believe it can and should happen.

My mom just said that it's easy to be a writer nowadays. That I can just utilize AI to finalize my creative ideas, to keep up with other writers. Listen, I love my mom, I know what the Ten Commandments say, but screw that opinion. I have never and will never use AI for creative writing. The only exception to me would be Grammarly, and even that is stretching my values.
I will use up my entire brainpower just to conjure up a line of dialogue. I will painstakingly type each word until my fingers bleed. Creative writing has been the only thing that has made me proud of my life, and I'll be damned if it makes it "easier". I am simply a man of principle that will not bend for that bs.
Sorry, but I needed to rant about this.

This is the opinion of the masses when it comes to AI (when it comes to everything, not just writing), regardless of how the internet makes it seem. Does that make it correct? No, no it doesn’t. But that’s just how it is. Stick with your principles and you’ll be fine, and your writing will come off more genuine than anything written with AI.

I shit you not, I pressed my nose against my phone while writing one of the chapters and accidentally published it. WHY CAN'T I LEARN!??!?!!
@tekitten66 Yep. If you go back through my message boards, you'll see a few times when I say that I did accidentally uploaded chapters.
