I have missed reading everyone's poetry and stories. Been a rough go of it for me since August. I have had Covid twice. The last time it overlapped with salmonella. The Covid symptoms were totally different from the 1st time to the 2nd. The first time around wasn't bad at all, but the second time, especially after it overlapped with salmonella, was ROUGH! That's putting it mildly! I had major foot surgery on December 7th, cataract surgery on my left eye on December 21st and the second one on my right eye on January 4th. The cataract surgeries were a breeze. The foot surgery on the other hand has a long way to go as far as recovery. I am about halfway there. I still have to stay off of it per my orthopedist's instructions. I am to start PT next week. Anyway, I am so tired of just sitting. It is driving me a bit bonkers to see the mess the house is in and I can't do one thing about it! :( Hope you all had a wonderful holiday! Happy New Year!

@SuzannaMullins Oh my, Suzanna. What a rough bout with about everything, all at once. I hope the cataract surgery went we, it did for me. I'm glad you're up and about, well almost, so, keep following your doctor's instruction and doing you PT, and get healed up. Lpf, Olan

Sorry I haven't been around as much. I've been recuperating after a fall while roasting marshmallows with my grandson on July 4th.
I dislocated my right shoulder and fractured it through the humeral head and greater tuberosity. They relocated my shoulder in the ER and referred me to my orthopedist. Hasn't been a fun time for me the past few weeks for sure! Anyway, I will catch up with you all ASAP. Blessings!
@seanfisher1 Family is fine. Been three weeks and a couple of days since I fell. Arm is still in a sling but getting better by the day. I probably have at least a month left before I am released from my doc.
