Suzanna Mullins was born and raised in a railroad town in east central Alabama. She is married, has two children, and a grandson. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, listening to music, photography, and writing, especially poetry. Her love of poetry started at a young age when her paternal grandmother introduced her to the works of Robert Louis Stevenson. Her father was a Baptist minister who also wrote poetry.
