Pain does not build cages so you can admire how you look in the light between the bars.

Yesterday has tomorrow's eyes.

dreams hiding in the cracks of her voice

It is not the sudden sleep that steals us, but the slow awakening.

I want to be a thousand nothings.

Somehow, you pull a sword from every stone they throw at you.

You don't know you're holding the missing piece until it cuts you in half.

Every uphill battle leads to the stars.

We are majestically broken into being.

Heart like the apocalypse; mind like the creation myth.

Humor is the genius seriousness dreams of.

You crow at one sun...I at another...either way, the day came, and we are still not supper.

The only place a woman is beneath a man is the grave.
