Diamonds broke the top 200 in rankings, held for a few days and is now buried in with the rest. Nearly popular! Hehehe. Thanks to my readers for the boost, btw.

If you could reply that would be amazing but I was wondering if you were thinking about doing a book 2 (Sequel) for Prince Of The Stable?? Cause it is amazing and I loved it so please consider BYEEEEEE

SydneyBlackburn4

@billybuys Thank you SO MUCH! I am so glad to feel the love for Aiden and Ro! I wrote another fairy tale type m/m but I sold it to Less Than Three Press, so now I'm working on a third, which is about half done. Not a sequel to Prince of the Stable (though I love Aiden and Ro, too!) but hopefully another fun story!

If you are going through the book right now, remember to be nice. We know how easy it is for you to fall to the dark side. The good news is that it doesn't start with an alarm, no popping of 'ps', and her curves are located where the usually are on any given human body, so there is really no need to point it out. It is told from multiple POV's. The plot is cliché, but I promise that I do something special with it.

@SydneyBlackburn4 You aren't being mean.

Best line heard on Facebook: "Just because gods don't exist doesn't mean they aren't real."

          And that, boys and girls, is just one tiny example of why I fail to get on with humanity.

            maybe we should become their Gods ourselves? That might be a laugh...these people will believe anything...

Hello sydney black burn. What kind of books do you like?

etee50

@SydneyBlackburn4 No one is in control of their lives during war. Dave's brother had been bombed to death. Diane and Emma became orphans. Chris and Timothy were made test subjects. It may seem to you that my book makes women and gays useless. It's not that I am against women and gays; it's just how the book turned out. Your feedback was very helpful. Thanks, I appreciate it. Next time, I'll try to create a different atmosphere when it comes to such characters.

@WarrenChua women are people, start there. Emma and Diane were well enough done, for what you allowed them, but they still were not really in control of their lives. Your male characters did things, your female characters (except the Evil Powerful ones) had things done to them. You also didn't need to add more women as POV characters, but your descriptions of the military are all male - Dave works with all male teams - why? The ROE only drafts men - why? You wouldn't have had to worry about how a lady-brain works just to mention that the military hadn't regressed over the course of a hundred and forty odd years.

@WarrenChua But as far as I could tell, you use "gay" and "female" to stand for "evil". You presented no real difference between the Republic of Evil and the Free States -- both are willing to kill for their goals, both can and do wipe memories. Plus, the Republic of Evil pays better (I bet they even have universal health care, because we all know how evil that is). And just because Hoare "took advantage of the gayness" the implication remains that had America remained intolerant of gay, it would have been safe. You may not have intended to use women and gays (and foreigners -- Shang stands as the Evil Foreigner) as shorthand for evil, but intent is not magic, and that's pretty much how it reads. I was desperately hoping for a twist ending where the Republic of Evil turns out to be ... well at least the lesser of the two evils.
