Soon to be Dead Account :(

I can't believe I missed the fact that last month was my 5th year on this platform!  Anyways, it looks like only one of the original four stories I picked last year is still being updated, which is a shame, but I can’t say I’m surprised. I haven't even touched the last fic since my last post and probably won’t until it’s finished (or close to it), and that's if I even remember to read it.
          
          I’m just using this to update the one person who might see it in the next five years, lol. So, I actually started writing some fics (mostly just a few ideas based on what I’m reading and watching). I probably won’t upload them, but who knows? It looks like I won’t be doing much or anything at all here for a while since most of my fic time has been on AO3 (which has a whole world of fics I haven’t explored, since I spent the last three out of five years just on Wattpad).
          
          I likely won’t delete my account because I want to keep this as an archive for future me to look back on and cringe a little (or a lot).
          
          Big thanks to everyone who wrote something I read! I don’t remember much about any of the fics on my lists/ranking because my memory is terrible, but I do remember how much time I spent here and how much I loved every moment of reading! You all helped me through some tough times in my life (well... I’m not doing perfect right now either, but you know what I mean ), and I wouldn’t trade any of those experiences for anything!
          
          Shoutout to the 17 people following me for some reason, even though I’ve never posted anything!  
          
          If you’re curious about what I’ve been reading lately (mostly the OVERLORD anime stuff) for whatever reason, my AO3 username is ItsMeEmilia. As I write this, I’m 185 chapters into a 244-chapter Overlord fic, and it’s one of the best I’ve ever read in that fandom!

I love trying to clear out my "read later" list before leaving and then remembering that pretty much all of them are uncompleted stories or now even discontinued :/

I finally decided after months of on-and-off thinking about this to finally start fully stepping away from Wattpad
          
          I haven't really been on Wattpad often for a while now and nearly all of the authors I used to follow seem to have either abandoned their accounts/stories or just got busy with life and don't really have the time or motivation to finish their stories.
          
          This is all really bittersweet since reading people's stories on Wattpad helped me through one of the worst times of my life and fanfics have been a staple of ~3 out of the nearly 4 years I have been on this site
          
          I am still going to be on this account until at least 3 out of 4 stories I’m currently reading finish (since “Under the Veil” is probably only going to be complete when I'm 50 lol and I have already re-read it 6 times now)

Thanks for adding my book to your reading lists. Gonna try my best to continue to publish chapters that meet your expectations and you enjoy them. :)
