Hi does anyone ever respond to messages you get about people wanting to publish your book? I have been getting them now from several different people and its frustrated that I can't delete them.
Since I am only a Junior in High school I am not understanding to this type of thing. Not to mention my parents warn me about people that steal identy and your works that you do. Z

@dashimir its not impossible to become good. That just takes putting the hours in but also learning about things like plot structure, dialog, exposition and so on. There's a lot of technical aspects to it. What it is is hard to find an audience or to become published. That doesn't mean you can't make a living from writing, but may mean you might need to broaden your concept of what making a living out if writing means, especially at the moment
