I'm sorry guys. This wattpad thing just isnt working out. I started writing my fanfc last year in the summer, and it's not that i've lost interest, but i feel like theres no point in writing anymore. people dont read it. i've lost readers, and i feel like the story isn't very appealing to people anymore. i really wanted to finish Making A Mark, but is there a point if no ones enojying it? i used to be so excited when i got a single vote, or comment, but those are gone too. i dont want to label my book discontinued, but i'm not sure i would want to come back for a while. what's the point of writing if no one is going to read it?

Thank you so much for this. I can’t describe how much I appreciate you for saying this. Until a while ago, I was writing this book only for myself. But I felt like it started it get embarrassing. Other fic writers were getting thousands of views so easily while each chapter of mine gets like 7. And 5 of those are me reviewing it again and again. But thank you for saying this and it’s inspired me a lot. I really appreciate it

I think the point of writing is for yourself, like as long as you love it you should do it. Even with thousands of views, the joy of writing doesn’t happen unless you love it and want it for yourself. I fully support you taking your own time to write a book of your own not posted. I know sometimes when posting them we get caught up in what other people think, that’s why I stopped putting mine online unless I was done. It’s tough, and I know you said you still liked it but didn’t get why to write it anymore, but if the intent of the book was for people to see it and like it, I’m not sure that’s you loving it, just loving to change people, but the only way to get through writing a full book is to do it for yourself. I hope your novel you write gets completed, but write it because you want to write and love to write. Don’t write it because you want thousands to see it. It always seems less genuine when you don’t just write it for yourself. But you can take comfort in the fact that this book taught you a lot about writing and sticking to it. I hope while you’re away you’ll come to love this as much as you originally did. Don’t lose your light or your fire. You got this babe! Good luck on your journey, I really hope you find yourself and your purpose while you’re away. Make an impact on yourself before you make it on others. Do that and people will care, I promise. If you writing a book can change you as a person, it’ll change other people. Do it for you.
