Hello! I absolutely love re-reading the Darkling series. However, I recently went back to read book 1, and I feel as if I'm starting off in the middle of the book. Am I going crazy?

Just wanted you let know that you are an amazing author/writer. You are inspiring me to no end! I have read the Darkling series at least 4 times (first 3 with a different account though) and I still cannot get enough.
