@ThatBi_IrishGirl you mostly search for fics you want by using tags, if you search ao3 on google then click on the link, you should be able to see a button called ‘edit your search’. You click on that and then you can use the various things you can type in (I forget the word) to specify what you’re looking for. So like, in additional tags, you can search ‘angst’ and then you click on the auto generated tag and then the website searches for fics using that tag when you click the ‘search’ button at the top
