i think ive realised why its gotten so dead on here
          its because most of the users back in like 2020 kind of idks sometime between 2020-2023 i would say, the most active users were kids, minors specifically.
          most of them. or at least for people i follow.
          but now, we're all growing up, including me and realising either a. life and their career matters more than some reading site, b. books on here no longer appeal or c. the fics on here arent that good as they used to seem to younger us- ao3 has much better fics (imo)
          and therefore it has become deader and as it becomes deader more people are quitting because of the dryness
          lowkey reminds me of one of those cycles i learnt in geography idk what cycle it was though...smth to do with buildings and tax
