Hello, Dragon-Hearted, I just wanted to ask your opinion on God Serena’s elements that were revealed in 100 year quest, and would also like your opinion on the Five Dragon Gods. They all seem really cool, and Jellal vs Serena was awesome.

ALSO YEAH they really did gloss over Acnologia eating the bonds of time, which is why he now eats everything hehee- ty for encouraging me, I'm gonna give it a read
@The-Dragon-Hearted personally I do like some of the parts of Hundred Year Quest. Some parts are eh, but God Serena and Jellal, as well as two of five of the Dragon Gods are making it worth it. Now I do dislike the fact that they made them equal to Acnologia, but honestly, that’s Acnologia BEFORE the bonds of time. Because he probably just straight up became a god at the end, literally taking control of that entire thing. The way they made Igneel a deadbeat though. God Serena’s elements are pretty cool though, and we do expand on the system of magic. But I can console myself with the fact Acnologia was probably still stronger since he ate the rift of time and space, which we know nothing about. I wish they expanded on that at least, because that was coming out of nowhere with him literally EATING IT.
@LionOfDestruction And when I say "it" is really really bad, I'm referring to the fact that I haven't read it. lololololol. I'm such a Fairy Tail nerd but after the main story quest ended I just said "peace out" and have operated by my own rules ever since, it's so bad -

@MatheusSilvaBuritide I'm not huge into react fics and so I have never written one but I can promise to keep up those funny lil author notes at the end of every chapter. Also, if you or anyone else would like to write one you're absolutely welcome to. All I request is you do it without re-posting the whole fanfiction. If you want the canon characters to react to chapters or scenes I 100% support you as well as any other projects that build off my fanfictions (this goes for everyone). If you want to do fanart, further fanfic, anything at all, you have my full permission. All I ever ask is that you don't repost a story in it's entirety and claim it's yours. Everything else and anything else is fair game (but also like please share it so I can adore you and your creation )

@MatheusSilvaBuritide Hi! I have considered writing a complete role reversal where Upper Moons are Hashira and the Hashira are demons but I don't have any concrete plans to write one at the moment, only lose ideas BUT I do like the concept

Dear incredible people,
Five years ago, I completed the first fanfiction I'd ever set out writing: a complete rewrite of the manga Fairy Tail, through a reformed Acnologia and the life he fights for. Today, on the 5th anniversary of its completion, I'm happy to announce my next project: a complete rewrite of The Dragon Father.
I have grown significantly as an author, and have found that five years later, that story still holds a very special place in my heart. So, I found it fitting to begin anew. Completely rewritten, from the ground up, using the original as its skeleton and inspiration. This will be a slow process, for as I've grown into a writer, I've also grown into an adult and cannot give fanfiction writing as much attention as I was once able to. BUT, I have reached a manageable schedule which I hope will allow me to adult and continue my current projects, such as As Things Should Be.
The Dragon Father will be updated on the 28th of every month, buying me enough time to write ahead and publish even if I'm in a lull for a while. I have twenty chapters pre-written so there should be a continuous flow of content for a long while, AND, once I've completed the fanfiction, it will be published once a week, or perhaps in mass (that's a decision for later).
I will NOT be deleting the original version, though I will put a note on it telling new readers of its renewal. That fanfiction may not be perfection, but I had so many wonderful interactions in its comments and it tells an older story of my youth, so it will stay. I do hope you all enjoy this new version, as it will be a fresh retelling with new lore, deeper characterization, and an overall improvement in writing and plot. Many things will change, but many things will not. I won't say anything more about the plot or development, that's for you lovely people to find out.
I want to thank you all for making this possible. I couldn't have done it without your support. Happy reading <3

THE WAIT IS OVER! Chapter 35 of As Things Should Be is out and published. It took a hot second, but it's another long boy to atone for the wait. I was struggling with some minor stuff but have gotten back in my rhythm. Thank you all for your patience and I hope you're having an awesome day.
