My name is Leslie A. Lawrence, also known as Stoney Banks. I've written over 15 books in different genres as well as helped dozens of authors write launch their books, workbooks, and magazines.

I've been in the book business for five years. Author, ghost writer, editor, literary agent, book store owner, educator... Been there done that. In 2019 I created Can't Make This Sh*t Up Productions, a publishing company and literary agency for authors who have strong voices and powerful stories.

As one of the top literary agencies in Ohio, I have found that many prospective authors delay writing their book simply because of lack of resources to get started.

I get it, researching can be overwhelming, starting the book can provoke anxiety, and it can just be a mess getting started. That's why I created The Book Doula University. To give writers the tools needed to write and publish their books!
