Think about dis:

A ship made for Theseus is built.  Eventually, as is normal, the wood decays, and needs to be replaced.  Over many years the old planks that are decaying are replaced by new ones.  After a while all the old planks have been replaced by newer ones, but is it still the Ship of Theseus?
And...
If you took all the wooden planks that had decayed and been removed, and built a ship out of those... would that ship be the Ship of Theseus?
