So, I have no idea if you've heard the recent news, but, this site has apparently been sold to some South Korean company or some shit. And based off of shit I have been informed of, they might not like lemons or fanfics. Now I know you must be asking "well why did you come here to tell us this, and not something else", to answer your question I really couldn't care for whatever the hell happens to this site, but you guys might. Right so, I know I don't really get to do this as often as I want to but I'm here now, and I something to say about this bullshit. As of recently some fucking asshole that thinks I'm dumb enough to fall for a scam decided to dm me some garbage along the lines of "Hey I'm an editor so do you want to read some of my chaps"
Yes they fucking said chaps, in refence to chapters, I shit you not. Anyways When I told 'em like I do most people to fuck off, they had sent me some 'chaps' and then lied right to my face about how 'their not allowed to post more 'chaps' and how i need to go this this shady ass link'. as if I would be dumb enough to fall for that shit.
back to the point here, as much as I hate interacting with people, I gotta look out for you all so just like don't be clicking links some rando ass company/person sends you. They've already tried and failed to buy me out, and I'm fucking tired of these shit scammers. Just fuck all of them.

I really feel like I didn't need to say any of this, but the amount of people that have fallen for these scams is insane so I thought I'd shed some light on to this.

If I find whatever is leaving cuts randomly on me, I will introduce whatever it is the the entire extent of the English dialects' insulting potential, then I will move on to Russian, then German. I will then learn how to speak The Galactic Standard just to insult it, only then will I move on the Thu'um, to curse at and insult it in the language of dragons. And probably kick it a few times for good measure. And yes, I know I'm only ever here for a couple days-months at a time before leaving for like 4 months, this will happen regularly

List of Paid Stories and chapter titles purchased by a user
Any third-party account IDs, such as Google or Facebook. Passwords associated with third-party accounts are not stored on our systems and are unaffected.
We want to stress that Wattpad does not store plain text passwords; all Wattpad passwords are encrypted. User stories, private messages, and phone numbers were NOT part of this incident. Financial or payment information are not stored on affected systems and, based on the investigation to date, were not affected in this incident.
Although we use encryption to store passwords, as a precaution, we are taking steps to enhance the standards we use for passwords on our platform and we...(I need to announce the rest in the comments)
