Hey guys, I’m still recovering. I just wanted to post an update for those asking… I promise everyone who hasn’t gotten winner stickers for the Starfish Awards yet WILL get them. I just reached out to the person who made the ones we have so far to see if she can do the rest. If she’s unable to do it, I’ll make the rest of them. I’ll let you know once I know. 
          
          I’m still having complications from post-concussion syndrome, so please be patient with me if I end up making them myself. I’ll just need a little time as I heal.

          With some difficulty, I have finished the awards! I’m sorry for the inconsistency of the reviews in the last category (Best Redemption Arc), but many were written pre-concussion while others were written after. I hope it still makes sense LOL. 
          
          And with this final category, it’s all over!!! Thank you to everyone who participated. 

Sorry I haven’t been around. I got into a car accident and suffered a serious concussion. I’m mostly ok but my screen time has to be extremely limited until my symptoms finally go away, so I haven’t been able to read much. I am feeling a little better and am reading the last entries of the last category of the awards slowly. Please be patient. I promise I’m still here and will finish judging this last award as soon as possible.

I’m doing my best to judge the Best Redemption Arc category as quickly as possible. Some of the entries are shorter, but some are pretty long, and I promised to read the entire books for this category, so please be patient with me. There are nine entries. (One may be disqualified unless the author responds to me soon, so this may end up being eight.) I’ve finished some of the shorter ones, but am still working on the longer ones. I hope to finish this category before February. Hopefully I’ll finish it much sooner than that. 
          
          Once I judge this category, the Starfish Awards will be complete! 

The results are in for Best LGBTQ Representation! Congratulations to our winners. This category was full of strong stories, too. I really enjoyed reading them.
