Hello World, I sincerely hope that you live more peacefully than yesterday.
Hopefully, you won't see (if you choose to stick around of course) many conversations from me- not because I'm ungrateful for any appreciation and love for my work, but only because of my middle-age, introverted nature and my limited time. However, I want to be clear about my current (or any) story, or any Fellow Writer's in this community. And thus, I'm using my ''Malleus Amicorum'' my first ''opus'', as an example.

No one has voted there yet. It's just a fact and it's completely understandable in its current, premature state. And yet, the total views of it are 44 'till now. Perhaps some people read it, but it happens every single time that I return to edit something. Id est if someone edits the same chapter of their story, 10 times per day, then in one week they will have 70 ''Views''; all by themselves to themselves.

And there are more weird things, like the position of the ''Star''- the site's equivalent of ''Like'' and ''Vote'', at the very bottom of each chapter, resulting in the frequent problem of ''Not Liking''. No wonder, because It's like it doesn't even exist. Just some other issues are cancelling DMs, not being able to delete the many notifications in our inboxes and not being able to hide the ''Stories You May be Interested'' section when we're reading something else. Wattpad tries its best. But we need more.

My main issue here is that anyone could use the ''Views'' thing, as a way of ''falsely advertising'' their stories, whether they're genuinely, emotionally invested or not. ''Ngl'' as ''Zoomers'' say, I was tempted too. But people who write for years or whose passion always lived on 'till now, want to play fairly; because it's not just about their Ego. It's about their Art -their Message. I'm not yet such a person- but I aspire and long to be. My apologies for my long post whether it's right or not.

          	''Ty'' for your time
If you're dropping by, come and say ''Hi''
