@Thestoryverse I definitely have a more clear direction when it comes to this particular story and character

@Thestoryverse I'm no expert when it comes to writing, mate, but this is the advice that I can give you. If you've changed Elysian enough that you think you should start a different version of Rainy Summer Days, maybe think on how to change the story and/or Elysian without starting over, or start over after you make a draft or something of Elysian's journey through all of his years at Hogwarts 
            
            As for him being an unreliable narrator, I'm afraid I can't help much with that because I've had such a hard time trying to do the same, that I gave up. Now, this obviously differs on how much of an unreliable narrator you want him to be, but if it's tied to the way he sees the world and to his emotions, maybe having someone "re-tale" an event or a conversation Elysian was part of, will help to make readers see what actually happened and how Elysian's narration changed that. Maybe writing a third POV from another character's perspective might help with that, too. If you want to just write Elysian's POV, maybe other people's reactions to what he says or does helps to let the readers know the reality of the situation, apart from Elysian's POV. Kind of like in the Percy Jackson books, where it's a first POV of Percy and he just nonchalantly kills some monsters and narrates that as if it's an easy thing, while the reactions of everyone else let the reader know how scary and skilled Percy is.

@Ell3sar it's not exactly because I can't think of where I want to take the story, I have a rough idea of it but the issue now is the fact I have changed a great deal of Elysian from the original story
            
            And making the POV first person is also a very detail because one thing that I am trying to integrate is him being an unreliable narrator
