Hey there. Im a trying Jamaican youth attempting the struggle of thinking outside of the box and truly integrating Jamaican culture into entertainment. All this in a form that one day can be purchased in a bookstore from anywhere in the world. All in a form that is not only understandable to us but, also the world at large that desires an insider's tell. Do offer me your support in bringing Jamaica to the libraries.


On a more personal note, Im a 17 year old who feels trapped within her circumstances. Writing is the only time I feel as though I might actually have purpose and for so long, Ive sit on the power within my own mind. I want to show Jamaica for what it is and what Ive experienced it as. Im here trying to interact with all who relate to me, or find the sympathy to desire to know more about what we go through. As youll notice, I stray from the usual intense creole in which most Jamaican books are written on this app. This is not to dim our culture or to say our way of speech is not important. Its simply to reach a broad, inclusive audience. Take no offense to this simply difference and thank you for the understanding you extend to my goal.
