I didn't understand the thumping his fists on the ground, causing the ground to shake. What am I missing? I'm not sure how I feel about this one. It started strong but I am not fully invested in the characters. You do great action scenes but I don't like a lot of the dialogue, it doesn't seem natural to me, so not sure if that's the issue for me. I used to have that problem. What I try to do now with my stories is read it aloud, even better if you can have someone else reading another character back at you.

@mediocrebrit thank you for your comments. I have started reworking the dialogue of the earlier chapters.

As to the fist thumping, that was a nod to Jason Greenfield and the origin story for Johnny Earthquake. You were not missing something, i didnt link it well and probably should have never put it in there.
I m thinking I will pull it back and rework it.

I have just published the first part of a new Johnny Earthquake serial titled SNAPDRAGON. It is available here: https://www.wattpad.com/myworks/333931057-snapdragon

Johnny and Rusty have been hired to find a stash of counterfeit money that Noface has hidden, but someone will do anything to stop them. The action begins in the very first chapter. Please let me know what you think.

Thomas, I was wondering if you could Email me (see My Profile) about Christine and what happened. I'm so sorry to hear the news. We were good "friends" as she would say and checked on me when I stopped writing for a short time way back when. She encouraged me to start writing again. It makes me very sad. Jim

Just finished listening. Hearing a voice and placing a name to it, a name I've only known through words was fascinating. It must be a lot of work putting this podcast together with people in different places.
